Cooking the Cabbage

Two thieves met one day in the Land of Fools.

As with all people of the same profession, they started to boast of their exploits.

One of the thieves said:
'I once stole a cabbage as big as a house!'

The other said:
'I once stole a saucepan as big as a palace.'

The first thief said:
'What would anyone want a thing like that for?'

Said the second thief:
'It was needed to cook your cabbage in!'

Birthday Gifts

It's good to be 37. I loved all my birthdays; I cannot complain, and I look forward to many more! I'm not really into gifts because I think I already have everything I need, but still I got plenty, thanks to all my friends and family.

This year's gifts included red envelopes, a pair of Bollé sunglasses, a Walmart gift card from my dearest co-workers, 2 action figures [Alien Queen deluxe action figure and the Masked Rider from a 1970's Japanese series], lunches and dinners from friends and families, a BBC's Life of Birds DVD box set and lastly, 2 DVDs from my friend Gina who works for Larry Flynt, titled Huge Cocks, Huge Toys & The Taste of Ass...

Hmm... I think I can die now! Thanks everybody!!

Severance

Severance...
The birds of leaving call to us
Yet here we stand
Endowed with the fear of flight

Overland...
The winds of change consume the land
While we remain
In the shadow of summers now past

When all the leaves have fallen
And turned to dust
Will we remain entrenched within our ways?

Indifference...
The plague that moves throughout this land
Omen signs
In the shapes of things to come
