Freak

Nothing to blog really, but this morning my cousin Mike sent me a link to a music video named Freak [Quicktime] by LFO. Quite refreshing, reminded me of my old school daze...

A Typical Day for a Fictitious Story

Yeah, I took a day off from work today, it was unexpected cuz I hardly take any time off at all! I got up early in the morning around 7am, and made myself a huge breakfast with waffles and milk and even fruit, 2 slices of honey dew melon to be exact, yum! I noticed that I had one plain donut left in the fridge and was gonna eat it, but decided not to! Checked my email and got nuttin', then decided to head out to run some errands.

I thot to myself: "It's a good day to be me!" First off I went to the local post office to get some stamps. Y'know stamps are 37 cents now a days, and it still amazes me how a piece of mail can go such a distance in less than half a dollar! Then a thought came to me, and I wanted to go to Barney's... If you haven't been, it's such a nice store! Yeah, their stuff are a bit pricey, like a tee shirt can run from $50-$200 dollars, but if you're into designer brands, it worth every penny! When was the last time I shopped at a Wal-Mart you ask? Hmm... I don't remember!

After my shopping spree I just went home. A bit tired already after all that walking with 'em heavy shopping bags. I was thinking of calling my friends Jason and Matt to see what they were up to, but durr, it's a workday, what was I thinking!?! 'em poor lads! So I just made myself some lunch and then took a quick nap. I love napping in the afternoon when there's no one around... a quick 45-minute snooze can do a whole lotta good!

After I woke up around 2pm, I decided to work on the computer a bit. I've been doing some freelance work to supplement my income. It ain't easy being a telemarketer y'know, the pay ain't all that great and you have to deal with all these irate callers... Hate them! So lately I've been doing some proofreading/editng work for my boss at work, she's been trying to write this self-help book and needed some help [hee, get it!], so I offered. I really don't mind doing it since, to tell you the truth, she ain't all that savvy with her grammar and spelling... You just load up the file on the computer and make all the changes there... Easy as pie!

I had an early dinner tonight around 6pm... Watched a little TV here and there... Hey, I didn't know that they're showing re-runs of Dynasty again? What a treat! So of course I was glued to the TV for quite some time! After that I was flippin' channels like a maniac... My couch loves me!

Now it's getting late and I think it's time for me to think up a quick blog! At times I hate this part, figuring out what to write and where to begin... It's 9 minutes 'til 10pm and I better think of something... hmm... Hey I know, maybe I can write about what happened today...

We Don't Play Guitaaaaaars!
Chicks On Speed's 99 Cents out 09/29th. Check out their version of Tom Tom Club's Wordy Rappinghood, and the We Don't Play Guitars video, they're way fun and the video has Peaches in it... hmm... She is quite a performer in concert I must say [especially with her dildo trick]! Take a lick look at her Crotch Gallery, you think people would be tired of her crotch already... no?

Lost: One Donkey

'O People!' shouted Nasrudin, running through the streets of his village, 'Know that I have lost my donkey. Anyone who brings it back will be given the donkey as a reward!'

'You must be mad,' said some spectators to this strange event.

'Not at all,' said Nasrudin; 'do you not know that the pleasure which you get when you find something lost is greater than the joy of possessing it?'

Millie's In For A Ride [of Luck]

My name is 'Lucky Bastard!'
Omigosh, the millipede is FOUND!!! No joke. Again, to make a long story short, Wednesday [the night after I lost my millipede] I went to Home Depot and bought 2 Maglite flashlights for Alec and I [reason for one to use to look for my millie]... Tonight when Alec opened his flashlight, he decided to go to my car to look for it himself... Lo & behold, a minute later he ran back into the apartment and said "It's in the car... it came out!!"

I thought he was joking cuz all this time I was looking for him [I've decided that it's a HE!] and he was nowhere to be found. Like I said, I looked and I looked and I freakin' looked EVERYWHERE!! Tonight he just decided to come back up from the grave and plopped himself on the floor of the backseat!! He was healthy as a bulldog... I was soooo relieved... Who would've thought he would survive this intense heat [outside and INSIDE the car] for such a long time - almost 72 hours! F**k me!!!

Well I tell ya, this is pretty strange. Damn, and I parked the car outside all day one day, inside of the car must've been at least 85-90 degrees! Alec's got the magic!! [...and I thot he was shittin' me when he told me! ha!] Thanks Babe! :-*

Millie's In For A Ride [of Death]

I got another millipede this afternoon during lunch time, he/she looked egg-xactly like Molly... an giant black African millipede... To make a long story short, I had to run some errands before I got home, and when I got into my car and right before I turned on the ignition, I noticed that he was GONE!!

Lid opened and the millipede is nowhere to be found! Oy... bad Robert, BAD! I looked and I looked and I looked... at first I thot I had SAT on it, but didn't... That would be tragic... "Millipede found dead under Chinaman's scrawny ass!!" I'm bummed!

So neglectful of me... Earlier I had a hard time putting the lid on and off, so I just left it closed half way... Darn thing so strong and got himself out... thot I was gonna give it a good home and now he's hiding somewhere inside my car, barely living I reckon!

I feel bad. Poor little thing's probably dead because of me! If he is stuck inside and me ended up not finding his remains, hopefully the car doesn't reek of death. And I also don't think anyone from work is gonna ride in my car again, EVER!

Bernadette: Stuart, I still think you should go to Ed's team and.. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I Am Thankful...

For the wife who says it's hot dogs tonight because she is home with me, not with someone else.

For the husband who is on the sofa, who's being a couch potato because he is home with me, and not out at the bars.

For the teenager who is complaining about doing dishes, because that means she is at home, not on the streets.

For the taxes that I pay, because it means that I am employed.

For the mess to clean after a party, because it means that I have been surrounded by friends.

For the clothes that fit a little too tight, because it means I have enough to eat.

For my shadow that watches me work, because it means I am out in the sunshine.

For a lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning, and gutters that need fixing, because it means I have a home.

For all the complaining I hear about the government, because it means that we have Freedom of Speech.

For the parking spot I find at the far end of the parking lot, because it means I am capable of walking and that I have been blessed with transportation.

For my huge heating bill, because it means I am warm.

For the lady behind me in church that sings off key, because it means that I can hear.

For the pile of laundry and ironing, because it means I have clothes to wear.

For weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day, because it means that I have been capable of working hard.

For the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours, because it means that I am alive.
