October 29, 2003Food For ThoughtsHmm... right now, sitting in front of the computer, eating my dinner... Leftovers from a week ago, Chinese food in a plasticware that Alec had transferred over from 'em to-go boxes. I just dumped a container of rice in it [also left over from the same time], mixed it all up and nuked it in the microwave... I assume most people wouldn't even touch any of the leftovers that's been sittin' round, say, for more than 4 days. I checked, it smelled alright... I'm eating it right now as I type... Would most people just toss it out? I think of all the starving people all over the world, and I'm just happy that I have something to eat! The food that I'm eating now, some people probably would fight for! One might see it as garbage yet others might see it as - life... What am I to do?

October 26, 2003Pig-Pen - Awh, So Cute! The word 'vacuuming'... looks fun-knee, and it's certainly not one of my favourite words in the English vocabulary [have I mentioned before that I dislike English? It's great, but I'm just not good at it!]! Anyway, Alec and I were talking this weekend, that our place's in desperate need of a Spring cleaning, but hey, it's Fall!! So I was thinking of hiring a couple of Merry Maids to do my, I mean, the job! It's a small place, but I'm such a pack-rat, to say the least. I have tons of books and magazines and toys and shit that I want to keep, but what to do?!? Put them in boxes and label them and see if I will open them again in, oh maybe a year or so? If not, then just forget about them and toss them out? Umm.. okay, NO! I'll keep EVERYTHING that I have and toss away HIS stuff. Heehee! Y'know like some of the dust/dirt that accumulated over the years, like on top of the fridge, I don't even touch... The layer is so thick, I think getting a new fridge would be a much better solution. Since we live so close to the freeway, we get more dust than usual... Maybe we should move... to West Hollywood! The only dust I see there is fairy-dust, and I can certainly deal with that. Yeah, Merry Maids service for sure... But we would totally need to vacuum up the place first before I would let them come over! It's that bad!

October 16, 2003October 12, 2003Mad WorldEvery now and then, here and there, little things appear to remind us that nothing really truly matters, except for our families and a few dear friends... Clear the air... Something simple and familiar, between you and I...
