Tears
My folks and I met up in Forest Lawn this past Sunday, along with my aunts and uncle, to vist my grandparents and my 2 uncles' graves [all on my dad's side]. My one uncle passed away a bit over 2 years ago. His wife came along this time and we all went to visit him. When we finished, I noticed that my mom was crying. She was very much teary-eyed and her voice was trembling, yet obviously she was trying to hide it...
For whatever reasons, it's sad to see our parents shed tears... My mom hardly cries, and it pains me to see her this way.

Its always surprising to see someone you feel is so strong in a vulnerable moment. Its hard, just as they took care of us, we want to take care of them too.

It's so humbling to see our parents scared/sad. I have no doubt you'll be a 'good' son and be there for mom when she needs you :)

It makes you so helpless when you can do nothing to help the pain but it is normal to feel the sadness at a loss no matter how long it has been. It is good to cry and release emotions. As fashmagslag say, you are a good son and will be their if they need your help. My prayers are with you. Luf, PJ
