Living In The 80's
This is pretty close to being in heaven... or hell.
Altered Images, New Order, Aztec Camera, B-Movie, Blancmange, OMD, Fun Boy Three, Klaus Nomi, Propaganda, Diamanda Galas, Siouxsie, The Psychedelic Furs, Cocteau Twins, Flying Lizards, Toto Coelo, Roxy Music and many more... Whew! Who's your favourite? Bookmark the page, NOW! :-)
Have you ever noticed how beautiful the music [guitar/string] is in the song Heaven by The Psychedelic Furs? Maybe. Maybe not. Watching these videos just now almost brought tears to my eyes... Enjoy!

"Heaven" is a beautiful song, but "The Ghost In You" has affected me more emotionally.
I haven't told anyone about my secret blog yet, but I think you might enjoy it.

FYI? It's heaven. I don't know how one could think that to be hell (insert happy face here)

O. M. G. I am ADDICTED to this site!!! I can't stop watching it. And I was thinking, "There's no way they have Eurogliders "Heaven" and sho' nuff they did... But they don't have Edelweiss "Bring Me (Edelweiss)" or Nomo "Red Lipstick" (which I can't find ANYWHERE... it's like it never existed, but I know it did cuz I have it on vinyl!!)...
And Robert, I don't know my I can't seem to email you... My emails to you keep on getting returned. :-(

Hey - I'm back to say they have Hanoi Rocks "Tradegy" on there! Jeez, how I loved them. Anyone else remember them? I was so into glamrock.
Also glad to see:
King -- "Love and Pride"
Modern English -- "I Melt With You"
The English Beat -- "Mirror in the Bathroom"
The Waitresses -- "I Know What Boys Like"

Thank you for being the best 80's Guru ever. I've never really connected with the 80's - mainly because, during that era, I don't listen to any music or watch any TV. I was *the* Ultimate Ultra Nerd. Just me and my books.

I have the CD single for "Edelweiss," which is basically a yodeling house version of ABBA's "S.O.S."
I remember Hanoi Rocks, but I can't remember anything they sang.

You might want to check out www.remembertheeighties.com because he has the latest updates on anything new with 80's artists. If it wasn't for the site, I wouldn't have known about the new Nitzer Ebb greatest hits album.

I'm realizing more and more how much I love the 80's. It's mostly New Wave stuff I know though.
That's funny, the link is blocked here from work and categorized as pornograpy. lol go figure. Gyaaaa, i hope they're not monitoring my usage(T_T)
